2 Year Warranty

All our systems come with factory complete 2 year warranty.

No Monthly Fees

There are absolutely no monthly fees associated with this security system. All video footage is safely stored on the security grade hard drive located within the recorder.

Remote Viewing

4K NVR's are designed for use with our free mobile app. Features such as remote viewing and event timelines make this app our most user-friendly and powerful app to date.

Power Over Ethernet

Thanks to Power-over-Ethernet technology, all that is needed to connect the 4K security camera to the 4K NVR is a single Ethernet cable. This cable provides power to the camera and transmits audio and video.

With or Without the Internet

Standalone camera systems do not need the internet to operate. However, an internet connection will be necessary if you wish to use a smartphone, tablet or computer to access features such as remote monitoring.

Connects directly to TVs and Monitors

Easily watch live video feeds or review video footage on most Monitors or HD TVs by using the included HDMI cable.

Active mechanical lens filter

The Active Mechanical Lens Filter (sometimes referred to as the IR Cut Filter) prevents UV light and infrared light rays from entering the lens of the camera during the day to prevent discoloration of the video. The filter will then automatically disengage at night, allowing the infrared light into the lens.

Real-time 30FPS recording rate

Nocturnal cameras included in this system can record 4K resolution video at a rate of 30 frames-per-second (FPS). At 30fps, all on-screen movement appears realistically smooth so there's no chance of missing important moments because of choppy footage.

NVR Network Video Recorder

Security NVRs will connect to IP cameras using CAT5 network cables and will store pre-compressed video footage from IP cameras.

4K Ultra HD Resolution (4×1080p Full HD)

4K resolution offers four times the resolution of 1080p with approximately 4000 horizontal pixels, provides the maximum level of detail and clarity available.

4K security cameras

There is a cutting edge 8MP image sensor within each of your Nocturnal security cameras. This sensor is capable of recording in 4K resolution, which will provide you with the best chance to capture the distinct details you require for evidence.

24/7 100% Duty cycle hard drive pre-installed

The hard drives are designed to work in a security environment, including simultaneous recording & playback from various streams.

Enhanced security monitoring with HDR

You won't have to worry about less than ideal lighting conditions with these Nocturnal security cameras. Your cameras use HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology to make sure important events are captured, even in a high-contrast lighting environment. The difference between the darkest point and the brightest point of the video is known as the dynamic range. Your cameras use this difference to automatically adjust the picture's brightness to ensure all overly dark and light sections of the video is compensated for.

Increased clarity in low-light settings

3D-DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology is also used to filter out digital noise from low-light scenes, as well as any noise caused by motion. By eliminating graininess, your cameras provide a cleaner, more accurate image with better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection. It will also help reduce video file sizes as well, giving you greater disc space for storage.

All-weather security camera

Mother Nature is no match for these security cameras. Rated IP67 -the highest weather rating available - these cameras can endure anything from torrential downpours to freezing snowstorms. They will even continue to operate in freezing climates as low as -22°F / -30°C +. So go ahead and place them where you need them most.

Durable metal camera housing

Both security cameras are housed in aerospace-grade aluminum. This means that they can better withstand outdoor conditions and violent impacts.

Secure mobile App

Easily connect this Nocturnal security system to our innovative Secure app for your mobile devices. Securely view your security cameras from virtually anywhere in the world, keep track of all motion activity with easy-to-read timelines, and receive push notifications for motion-triggered events with the help of this app. You will also be able to turn a camera on and off anytime you wish (a first for NVR security systems) using the new privacy feature.

RapidRecap® - see the entire day in a minute

RapidRecap® videos quickly compile up to 12 hours worth of activity into a short video summary. Watch as all motion events are superimposed onto your screen simultaneously with accurate timestamping to tell you what happened and when. This feature can be found in the timeline section of the Secure mobile app.

Cloud subscriptions

This security camera system comes with a free Cloud Basic plan. It includes limited cloud storage, cloud history, and RapidRecap videos for one camera (defaulted to channel 1). Upgrade this plan to a Cloud Premium plan for 30 days of cloud history, unlimited cloud storage, and unlimited RapidRecap videos.

Continuous, scheduled, and motion recording options

Your NVR features three different recording modes. You can record footage continuously, during scheduled times or upon movement. These recording modes can be customized with each camera as well, so you can program a camera in a higher traffic area to record constantly while a camera in a lower traffic area can be set up to record only on motion events or during the night.

Regional motion zones

There may be certain areas of your property that you want to keep an extra eye on, such as the front or back door. Using the NVR, you can program specific motion zones so that they are customized for heightened sensitivity (the amount of motion needed to register that movement) and threshold (how much motion is needed before creating a motion "event"). That way you can highlight important spots such as entranceways so that even the slightest motion will trigger the camera to start recording while other areas would require a higher level of motion in order for the camera to start recording.

Privacy masking

In the event that the camera is facing a specific area that you absolutely do not want recorded, simply activate the privacy masking option. Use the NVR to draw a square around the spot(s) you don't want the camera to record, such as an inside window, and they will be blacked-out in your video footage.

Automatic Firmware updates

Your NVR will automatically update its firmware if connected to the internet. This ensures that your system is always up-to-date and protected from any new vulnerabilities.

Security-grade hard drive

Your NVR comes with a security grade hard drive pre-installed. This type of hard drive is designed for security purposes and can continuously record footage without taking a break. If more storage space is desired, this NVR also is fully expandable up to 16TBs in most cases..

Easy PoE installation

Each of your cameras only require a single CAT5e ethernet cable to connect them to the NVR. This cable not only powers the camera, but also transmits video and audio data. It also provides a stable network connection and flexible installation options up to 300ft, since they do not need to plugged into a power source.

Backlit CMOS sensor

The image sensor located at the core of your Nocturnal cameras delivers exceptional 4K quality video at all hours of the day, including low light conditions due to the sensor's back illuminated pixel technology. Furthermore, before the video signal is converted to digital, it is streamed through an analog noise reduction filter in order to reduce excessive feedback and noise. It then goes through another final digital noise reduction filter, so the ultimate result is crystal clear, 4K video footage.

Always in focus

Achieving the correct focus hasn't always been easy with security cameras that can zoom in and out. That is not the case with this security camera. Regardless of what focal length you need, the camera will automatically adjust the focus, so details are always fully distinguishable and crisp.

Over 8 million pixels

Your 4K resolution security cameras record at a pixel ratio of 3840 x 2160 for a total of 8,294,400 pixels ? about four times the amount of a standard 1080p security camera. This higher number of pixels means sharper video and better digital enhancing. So smaller details and distinct features, such as facial features, will stay sharper for longer as you digitally zoom in further and further into the image.

IP Rating for Security Cameras

These security cameras are given an environmental rating to indicate their suitability for installation in different indoor and outdoor environments. This rating is based on the camera's Ingress Protection (IP) rating. In most cases, these security cameras are rated IP66, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
