The 808 Series of in boat speakers represents the world’s first true marine convertible component system. Featuring an 8 inch mid bass driver with a 1 inch titanium tweeter that can be coaxially mounted or component style with the tweeter mounted in a flush or surface mount cup. Advanced 12 dB crossover integrated into the mid bass frame provides detailed highs and punchy mid bass.
Great sound and versatile mounting options
Wet Sounds' 808 Series speakers give you powerful sound and remarkable versatility. Designed for larger boats that can handle larger speakers, the SW-808-W convertible component speaker system lets you choose the best spot on your boat for its 1" titanium dome tweeters.
You can mount the tweeter in the center of the 8" speaker's UV-resistant grille, or go for the classic component installation by using the included flush- or surface-mount cups. Either way, you'll get terrific sound and outstanding details, thanks to the crossover network that's integrated into the woofer's frame.
Ready for abuse
Like all Wet Sounds gear, 808 Series speakers are designed to survive and thrive on the water. The woofer's frame and grille are made from Nylas, a seriously rugged nylon/fiberglass blend that can take the pounding of a long day of wake-hopping. Each speaker has a rubber spider, surround, and magnet boot for long-lasting water resistance you can count on when the weather gets rough or the spray gets high.
